LMSW - Bilingual (Spanish)
5-24
Hello and Welcome! My name is Jazmin and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I received my Master’s in Social Work from Eastern Washington University and obtained a minor in Spanish. I specialize in supporting children, teens, and young adults using a client-centered therapeutic approach, rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness—core conditions shown to nurture growth and self-awareness.
I bring focused experience working within high school communities, helping students navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges with confidence. I also have a strong background supporting children with Neurodevelopmental disabilities, tailoring support strategies that honor each individual’s unique strengths and potential.
Before entering practice, I served as a community advocate at a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence, in roles that demanded crisis intervention, safety planning, community outreach, and legal advocacy. That work shaped my ability to remain calm, compassionate, and resourceful—especially in high-stakes situations.
Outside of my therapist role, you can find me on the slopes snowboarding with my best friends, or at home crocheting while enjoying my favorite shows/movies! I also love going to the gym and spending time with my family while my mom cooks my favorite foods.
I am passionate about helping persons who choose to work with me build stronger coping skills, so they feel equipped to face any of life’s challenges with resilience and hope. Life can be tricky, but you don’t have to do it alone. I look forward to working with you!
