LSW
5-24
Hi, I’m Brandon! I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Illinois with a Master of Social Work from Capella University and more than 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. My background includes special education and school based social work in Chicago Public Schools, where I supported youth with anxiety, emotional regulation, social skills, behavioral challenges, autism, ADHD, and other developmental and learning needs.
My approach is strengths based, person centered, and collaborative. I take time to build trust, understand each client’s unique strengths and goals, and help them feel supported and comfortable being themselves. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and practical tools for coping skills, mindfulness, grounding, emotional regulation, and problem solving. My goal is to help young people build confidence and develop skills that support their well being at home, school, and in their relationships.
Outside of social work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, children, and friends, being in nature, listening to live music, and gaming. I believe connecting with young people often starts with taking a genuine interest in the things that matter to them, and I bring that same openness and respect into my work with every client.
